Gene Snyder

Gene Snyder, 76, of Waynesburg, KY, passed away at Sunday, November 4th, at Charlestown Health Care Center in Danville, KY. Gene was born on July 15, 1942, a son of the late Okie (Maggard) and Charlie Snyder. He was the husband of Frances A. (Simpson) Snyder. They were married November 4, 1961 in Waynesburg, KY. He was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church where he was a former Sunday School teacher and Trustee. He was a retired machine operator for Penn Ventilator where he worked for 36 years.

Survivors Include:
Wife of 57 years, Frances Snyder
Son, David and wife, Nona
Son, Paul and wife, Pam
Daughter in law, Donna Snyder
Brother, Bill Snyder

4 Grandchildren: Whitney Snyder, Charlie Snyder, Mackenzie Goode, and Harley Snyder

1 Great Grandchild, Ellianna Snyder

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Danny Snyder, and two brothers, Jack and Walter Roy Snyder

Pallbearers include: Charlie Snyder, Tony Snyder, Doug Snyder, Cody Snyder, Dewayne Reynolds, and Joey Reynolds

Honorary Pallbearers: Benny Simpson, Hal Oaks, Wayne Saylor, Jerry Genton, Walter Dowell, Henry McCowan, and The Adult Men's Sunday School Class of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church

Officiating- Bro. Johnny Thompson & Bro. Shelby Reynolds
Place of Burial- Mt. Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM, on Tuesday November 6, 2018 at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel and from 11AM until 1 PM funeral time on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018 at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church on Highway 1948, Waynesburg, Kentucky
