Obituary for Francis Denson

Mr. Francis Denson, 87, of Waynesburg, passed away Monday, May 13th, at his home. He was the husband of Lennie (Johnson) Denson whom he married on May 4, 1954. Francis was born in Lincoln County on February 7, 1932. He was the son of the late Ivan and Oma Jane (Griffin) Denson. Francis was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church and had worked as a farmer.

Survivors Include:
Wife of 65 Years, Lennie Denson
Son, Conrad Dean Denson & Wife Susie
Daughter, Carlene Reynolds Saylor
6 Grandchildren: Tommy Wayne, Rose, Dana, April, Ethel & Carla
8 Great Grandchildren

In addition to his parents, Francis was preceded in death by Brothers, Eugene, Charlie, Jimmy & Cecil Denson; and Sisters, Bertha, Dorothy, Ruth & Eva

Pallbearers: Tommy Wayne Reynolds, Rob Lewis, David Price, Doug Eggers, Steve Spears & Ray Godbey

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 16, 2019
Place of Service: McKnight Funeral Home Chapel
Officiating: Bro. Chester Cornett
Place of Burial: Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery

Visitation after 6:30pm, on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at McKnight Funeral Home and after 8 am on Thursday until 11am funeral time.
