Faye (Holloway) Oaks, 79, of Waynesburg passed away Monday, July 29th, at Hospice of Lake Cumberland. Faye was born in Lincoln County, Kentucky on August 12, 1939. She was the widow of Matt Oaks who preceded her in death on July 16, 1989. She was a daughter of the late James Wesley & Lorraine Ethel (Wells) Holloway. Faye had worked 28 for the Fort Logan Hospital as a billing and registration clerk. She had been a member of the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church since she was 15 years old. Faye was an honorable Kentucky Colonel, a lifetime member of the Disabled Veterans ladies auxiliary and a member of the Fort Logan Hospital Auxiliary.
