Mickey Ryan Puumala, 21 died Monday, January 8, 2018 in a automobile accident on Highway 150 East of Stanford, Kentucky. Mickey was born October 1, 1996 in Lexington, Kentucky. He is the son of Mickey Andrew Puumala of Crab Orchard, KY and Holly Swanstrom Hassel of Stillwater, OK. Mickey was a member of the baptist faith and had previously attended The Church at Cedar Creek. Mickey was a mechanic who loved working on trucks, cars and any type of small engines. He also enjoyed archery.

Survivors include:

One son, Garrett David Sowder
Companion, Sierra-Dawn Sowder
Dad, Mickey Andrew Puumala
Mom, Holly Swanstrom Hassel
Half Brother, Andrew Swanstrom
Paternal Grandparents, Marshall & Nancy Puumala
Maternal Grandparents, Dexter & Denise Swanstrom
Several aunts, uncles & cousins as well as many friends.

Funeral date & time: 2 PM Friday, Jan. 12, 2018
Place: The Church at Cedar Creek located at 5787 Highway 150 East, Stanford, KY 40484
Minister: Dr. Jefferson Calico
Place of Burial: Crab Orchard Cemetery

Visitation will be from 11 AM until 2 PM time of services on Friday Jan. 12th at The Church at Cedar Creek

The family request in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions suggested be made to the Mickey Ryan Puumala memorial fund in care of McKnight Funeral Home, P.O. Box 97, Crab Orchard, KY 40419
