Obituary for Mary Kidd Calton

Mary Magdalene (Kidd) Calton, 88 of Stanford, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at her home. She was the wife of the late Jim Calton who preceded her in death on November 8, 1987. Mary was born in the community of Broughtontown, in Lincoln County on March 5, 1930. She was a daughter of the late James Earl and Susie Elizabeth (Neal) Kidd. Mary was a member of the New Hope First Church of God. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, painting, gardening, canning and working cross word puzzles. Mary was loving Mother and Grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by two Sisters, Margaret Latitia Bryant & Oakie Mae Kidd and three Brothers, George Daniel, James William & John Henry Kidd

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 28, 2018
Place of Service: McKnight Funeral Home Chapel
Officiating: Bro. Harold Harness
Place of Burial: Sophus Cemetery
