Obituary for Lucille Simpson Pingleton

Lucille (Simpson) Pingleton, 77, of West Chester, OH passed away Saturday, November 25th, at The Otterbein Nursing Home in Lebanon, Ohio. She was the wife of the late Rev. Cecil Pingleton. Lucille was born in the Copper Creek community of Rockcastle County on January 6, 1940. She was a daughter of the late Garfield and Anna Mae (Brock) Simpson. Lucille was a member of the Tuley Road Pentecostal Church of God in Hamilton, Ohio.

Survivors Include her two daughters: Angela Morris and Peggy (David) Vick both of Morrow, Ohio; Siblings: Melvin Simpson of West Elkton, Ohio, Wanda Owens of West Chester, Ohio, Danny Simpson & Lilly Durham both of Copper Creek, Ky; Four Grandchildren: Brian & Amanda Vick, Amy Lynn Morris and Makayla Pingleton; Great Grandchildren: Trinity, Jaymin & Gus Morris, Miracle Pingleton, Alyssa, Alexis, Alton, Aden & Andrew Jordan, Serena, Isaiah, Michael, Elizabeth & Emma Vick.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lucille was preceded in death by her Son, Timothy Dole Pingleton; Grandson, Ryan Dale Morris; Siblings, Clyde, Lewis, Beck, Don & Marietta Simpson and Beatrice Barnett and Son-In-Law, Roger Dale Morris.

Memorial Services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, December 16 at McKnight Funeral Home. Family will receive guests prior to the service beginning at 1:30 pm.
Gravesite services will follow immediately after the memorial at Brock Cemetery on Copper Creek
